The EWW Women’s Championship has a rich history, having been held by the likes of Erin Angel, Deadly Nightshade and Skarlett, but the events of the past couple of years have meant that Astrid has had few chances to defend her title.
At EWW Revelations, The Unknown’s Maddi Almightyy defeated Bloody Mary Mayhem in a number one contender’s match for the EWW Women’s Title. Before she had a chance to celebrate, however, a piece of shit from Fight Factory jumped in the ring and pummeled both competitors.
I can only assume that Matty Spilatty didn’t get in Lou Steel’s ear this time (which is pretty suspicious if you ask me) because what was scheduled to be a one-on-one contest between two of EWW’s best has now become a triple threat match for the title, with Lory added to the mix. It seems Spilatty only has a problem with EWW’s female wrestlers.
We can only hope that Astrid and Maddi are at their best because we don’t want another title making its way to Fight Factory. Lory has a number of reasons to be seeking revenge on EWW, particularly given what Skarlett did to her face when we invaded Gainsborough.
Whatever I might think of her morality, it’s undoubted that Lory is one of the most underrated wrestlers in the UK. This will be a tight contest between three of the toughest women in the country, and you can only see it by getting your tickets from the EWW website, Hastings Tourist Information, or The Black Arts Tattoo Studio.
16th July, Summerfields Leisure Centre, Hastings. Be there.
